Estimator (Joinery & Office Fit Outs)

1. Estimation and Cost Analysis:
- Conduct detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, and associated expenses.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost assessments.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.

2. Bid Preparation:
- Prepare competitive and timely bid proposals for prospective clients.
- Research and source materials, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing information.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost_x0002_effectiveness.

3. Budget Management:
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase.
- Provide ongoing cost analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project teams to address any budget variances and propose solutions.

4. Industry Knowledge:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and advancements in construction materials.
- Utilize market knowledge to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Interior Fit Out Estimator, preferably in a similar industry.

2. Skills:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools like Planswift etc.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills & attention to detail and accuracy.

3. Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.

4. Adaptability:
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
