Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents for fit-out and civil projects.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates covering all project components, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Conduct accurate quantity take-offs and measurements; proficiency in PlanSwift will be considered an advantage.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and verify pricing accuracy.
  • Analyze project risks, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide value engineering recommendations.
  • Prepare and submit tender documentation, bid summaries, and detailed cost breakdowns.
  • Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and design teams during pre-construction and handover phases.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, pricing libraries, and historical cost records.
  • Support post-tender clarifications and negotiations with clients and consultants.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven estimating experience in the fit-out or construction sector.
  • Strong background in tendering for commercial, retail, hospitality, office fit-out, and civil projects.
  • Good understanding of local building codes, regulations, and current pricing trends.
  • Immediate joiners will be given preference.
