Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze project specifications and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads

  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure alignment and accuracy in estimates
  • Utilize industry-standard estimation software and tools to facilitate the estimation process
  • Prepare detailed bid proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct risk analysis and identify potential cost deviations, providing mitigation strategies
  • Maintain a database of historical costs and estimates to improve future estimation accuracy
  • Support the continuous improvement of estimation processes and methodologies

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience in estimation or cost engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and bid preparation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
