Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Utilize cost estimation software and tools to streamline the estimation process and enhance accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline project scope, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Attend pre-bid meetings to gain insights and clarify project requirements with clients and stakeholders.
- Research and analyze market trends to provide up-to-date information on material and labor costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in cost estimation within the construction or engineering sectors.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or equivalent are preferred.
- Experience in handling large-scale projects, especially in the commercial or infrastructure domains, is a plus.
- Nationalities with a background in countries with advanced construction practices are highly valued.
