Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Tendering & Estimation: 1. Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings for substation and switchyard projects (up to 132kV). 2. Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing sheets for EPC and service projects. 3. Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and conduct technical-commercial comparisons. Proposal & Documentation: 1. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for submission to clients/consultants. 2. Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to gather inputs for proposals. 3. Develop prequalification documents, capability statements, and supporting materials for tenders. Business Development: 1. Identify new business opportunities in the utility, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. 2. Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders. 3. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to support business growth. Coordination & Reporting: 1. Liaise with suppliers and OEMs for technical clarifications and price negotiations. 2. Prepare management reports on tender status, success ratio, and pipeline projects. 3. Maintain updated database of vendor rates, tender records, and ongoing opportunities
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in BD/estimation work at Substation & Switchyard 132KV.
