Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil projects (Refurbishment/Maintenance/Reconstruction/Fitout), including material, labor, and equipment costs, using specialized software and industry knowledge.

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities, ensuring comprehensive cost coverage.

  • Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs, accurately measuring and calculating quantities of materials required for each project phase, minimizing discrepancies.

  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes, negotiating favorable pricing and terms to optimize project profitability and manage project budget.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Holds a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil maintenance/refurbishment/fitout estimating, showcasing practical expertise in the field.
