Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

- Design and implement Project Management tools and methodologies.

- Maintain and track progress of individual projects across key milestones and tasks, overall costs, risk and issues, budget, etc.

- Measure and report key project and program metrics, including budget, schedule deviations and key operating metrics.

- Define and drive program governance in co-ordination with THC leadership.

- Review and facilitate document sign-off and approval processes for project deliverables.

- Lead solutioning and problem-solving sessions with functional experts to deliver key outcomes.

- Facilitate full status reporting cycles and steering meetings between projects owners and Leadership team.

- Ensure key outcomes are met across multi-functional programs and projects.

- Provide guidance in identification and tracking of RAIDDs (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Decisions and Dependencies) and act in a proactive way.

- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure key project outcomes are achieved.

- Provide THC leadership with delivery confidence across key projects, with the ability to recover project deviations and performance under accelerated timescales.

- Communicate effectively across the organization and THC leadership, and convey key project outcomes or issues, as necessary.

- Observe the highest level of discretion, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive project or portfolio related information whilst engaging key project stakeholders.

- Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance, coaching or training to direct reports in performing their delegated duties.

- Optimize the use of personal and team time/effort in carrying out assigned duties, to ensure work meets agreed standards for timeliness and quality.

- Ensure continuous monitoring of trends in the market and provide advice to leadership on potential initiatives.

- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.

Leadership:

- Monitor staff achievements, perform periodic performance appraisals, and provide guidance, coaching or training to direct reports in performing their delegated duties.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in business administration, or any technical field.

Master s degree is preferred.

Relevant professional certificates such as (Lean, Project Management, etc.) is preferred.

Experience & Skills:

7 years experience in project management (PMO)/ strategic management (SMO) role.

Experience working as a project manager, and leading projects and complex business transformation initiatives.

Experience in the design and implementation of project management and PMO processes from the bottom up.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Prince2, Agile and or PMP.

Strong commercial, financial and business acumen.

Demonstrated proficiency on project management software.

Strong project management skills and functional leadership (PMO) on complex cross-functional business initiatives, including but not limited to project or program definition, stakeholder management, issue tracking and resolution, reporting, budgeting and so on.
