Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the English Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the English curriculum in alignment with school objectives.
  • Mentor, support, and appraise English teachers to promote professional growth and instructional excellence.
  • Coordinate departmental meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning.
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve academic outcomes.
  • Oversee the selection and use of instructional materials and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and other departments to support interdisciplinary initiatives.
  • Organize and participate in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to English.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies, educational standards, and regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English or in a related educational leadership role.
