Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise engineering staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and emergency repair work
- Monitor and maintain all hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand standards
- Maintain records of maintenance tasks, incidents, and equipment inventory
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, minimizing disruptions
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to support operations and guest services
- Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineering staff
- Promote continuous improvement and adherence to departmental procedures
- Assist in vendor management and oversee outsourced technical service providers
Desired Candidate Profile
Prior experience in a supervisory engineering role within hospitality or related industry
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Technical qualifications or certifications in engineering, facilities, or maintenance are preferred
