Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage stock levels of mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance supplies, ensuring that required materials are held in line with company stock control systems.
• Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming deliveries, verifying that they are undamaged. Issue materials, tools, and equipment to authorized personnel against request forms, ensuring all transactions are recorded.
• Ensure that all goods are immediately dispatched to store for which they are intended and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised on the receiving area.
• Maintain accurate manual and computerized records of all stock movements, including receipts, withdrawals, and stock levels.
• Initiate purchase requests for items that fall below minimum stock levels and liaise with the purchasing department regarding orders and delivery dates.
• Ensure all storerooms and storage areas are kept clean, organized, secure, and compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular, periodic physical stock checks and reconcile them with the system records to ensure accuracy.
• Responsible for communicating with supervisor on any discrepancies or other potential problems.
• Additional duties and responsibilities can be later on assigned as per management decision.

Technical Competencies:

• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Experience in respective computer software is a plus
