Engineering Shift Leader Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts

We re looking for a skilled and hands-on Engineering Shift Leader to join our team. As part of our IHG family, you ll oversee daily engineering operations during your shift, ensuring all equipment, systems, and facilities are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards. You ll guide and support the engineering team, resolve technical issues efficiently, and keep the hotel running smoothly to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate engineering team activities during assigned shifts.

Monitor and maintain hotel systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC, ensuring minimal downtime.

Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests.

Conduct routine inspections of equipment, systems, and facilities to identify and resolve issues.

Assign tasks and follow up to ensure timely completion and quality standards are met.

Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and IHG brand standards.

Support training and development of engineering team members.

Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance-related needs effectively.

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an engineering or maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Strong technical knowledge of hotel systems and equipment.

Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team.

Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Knowledge of safety regulations and preventive maintenance procedures.

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
