Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test radar systems, ensuring adherence to stringent performance specifications and operational requirements for optimal functionality.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of radar signals and data, employing advanced signal processing techniques to extract critical information and enhance system effectiveness.
  • Perform comprehensive simulations and modeling of radar systems and their environments, predicting performance and optimizing designs before physical implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, to integrate radar components and ensure seamless system operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to radar hardware and software, minimizing downtime and maintaining system reliability.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in radar technology, incorporating innovative techniques and components to improve system capabilities.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and presentations, clearly communicating findings, designs, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of radar systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Contribute to the development of radar system architectures, defining system requirements and ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Participate in the development of new radar technologies and applications, contributing to the advancement of radar capabilities and applications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in the principles of radar technology.
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as those from IEEE or professional engineering organizations, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the radar industry, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing radar systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the defense, aerospace, or automotive industries, showcasing familiarity with industry standards and practices.
  • Proficiency in radar system design software and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, COMSOL), enabling accurate modeling and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of signal processing techniques, including filtering, detection, and estimation, enhancing radar system performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, demonstrating the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
