Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities 

  • Network / Service Surveillance and Team Handling during the Shift.
  • Reporting Critical and Major issue to Management as per the process.
  • Timely escalation of critical network issues to service partners, stakeholders, and management team as per company escalation matrix
  • Management Notification & Escalation as per the company escalation matrix.
  • Perform Traffic re-engineering, links capacity upgrade and nodes version upgrade to handle KPI degradation complains due to limitation over wireless network.
  • Management Notification & Escalation as per the escalation matrix.
  • Initiate & Manage performance and acceptance requests.
  • Excellent understanding of wireless broadband technologies and related technologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience Wireless network in Telecom/Communication industry.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify all wireless network related issues and other related impairments escalated from other departments.

Skills/

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with wireless products from Huawei, Nokia etc
  • Strong understanding and experience with Cisco wireless access points, both indoor and outdoor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel automation and VBA scripting.
  • Continuously learning and adapting to emerging technologies in automation, AI, and data science.
  • Handle and manage Network Incidents within SLA.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering


Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in NOC operations
  • Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment
  • Proven expertise in network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
  • Experienced in using monitoring tools such as Huawei NCE, NFMP, PRTG, and Cisco Prime, Ericsson ENM, Huawei U2020, Nokia NetAct etc
  • Strong expertise in programming and automation, with hands-on experience in Python, Power BI, and SQL for data management and analysis.
  • Skilled in developing automated workflows and dashboards to improve operational efficiency.
  • Technical/Process leader for the Operation and Maintenance of the Mobile and Wireless Networks.
  • Excellent knowledge for Radio Access Network including NSN/Huawei/Ericsson 2G/3G/4G/5G; Cisco Wi-Fi, RTN Transmission and AAA.
