Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead advanced design and analysis of mechanical systems using engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, MATLAB).

  • Review and approve engineering drawings, technical specifications, and calculations in line with international standards such as ASME, API, and ISO.

  • Manage and oversee the execution of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

  • Provide expert technical support to maintenance and operations teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues.

  • Conduct risk assessments and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) for critical equipment failures.

  • Develop and implement engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including electrical, instrumentation, process, procurement, and safety to ensure project integration.

  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and project documentation to stakeholders and management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master s degree is a plus).

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design, project execution, or maintenance in industrial environments.

  • Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and other mechanical simulation software.

  • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and lead engineering tasks independently.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
