Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for EPC projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, international codes, and industry best practices to deliver high-performance solutions.
 - Perform detailed calculations for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including load calculations, equipment sizing, and ductwork design, to optimize energy efficiency and system performance.
 - Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and material requisitions for HVAC equipment and components, ensuring accurate procurement and vendor coordination.
 - Review vendor submittals and shop drawings, providing technical expertise and ensuring compliance with design requirements and project standards to maintain quality control.
 - Collaborate with project engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems with other building systems, ensuring seamless project execution.
 - Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess existing HVAC systems, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvements or modifications.
 - Develop and maintain project-specific HVAC documentation, including drawings, calculations, and reports, to facilitate clear communication and record-keeping.
 - Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and startup of HVAC systems, resolving any issues that arise and ensuring successful project completion.
 - Stay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, trends, and regulations, continuously improving design skills and knowledge.
 - Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and contributing to the overall success of the project.
 
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a specialization in HVAC systems.
 - Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design within the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry.
 - Proficiency in HVAC design software such as HAP, Trane TRACE, or similar tools.
 - Proven ability to perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and ductwork design.
 - Strong understanding of international HVAC codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO).
 - Experience with project management and coordination, including vendor management.
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
