Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the functionality and maintenance of all gate security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on security equipment, promptly identifying and resolving any technical issues or malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous security.
- Manage and maintain the security gate's automation systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components, to ensure smooth and secure gate operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to gate security systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical expertise to identify and repair faults efficiently.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures for the gate security operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze security system data, identifying potential vulnerabilities or security breaches and recommending improvements to enhance overall security posture.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and facilities management, to integrate gate security systems with other building systems and ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical support and training to security personnel on the operation and maintenance of gate security systems, empowering them to effectively manage security protocols.
- Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies for gate security systems, ensuring availability of necessary components for repairs and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in gate security technology and industry best practices, recommending and implementing upgrades or enhancements to improve security effectiveness.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in technical principles.
- Possession of relevant certifications, such as those from the Security Industry Association (SIA) or similar organizations, demonstrating expertise in security systems.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the security industry, with a focus on gate security systems, showcasing a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated experience with access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems, indicating comprehensive knowledge of security technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and electronic components of gate systems, highlighting practical skills.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, safety regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and security effectiveness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with security personnel, management, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check, ensuring compliance with safety and security requirements.
- Familiarity with relevant software and computer systems used in gate security management, demonstrating technological proficiency.
