Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) for batteries upon completion of maintenance.
- Supervise all battery shop activities, ensuring compliance with DGCA, OEM specifications, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Plan the availability of tooling, equipment, materials, facilities, and maintenance data to ensure timely and safe completion of work.
- Monitor and report all mandatory occurrences and serious defects.
- Ensure all work packs are prepared, reviewed, issued, and archived in compliance with MOE requirements.
- Operate chargers, analyzers, and specialized equipment under proper environmental conditions.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and proper documentation of components.
- Verify that all tools and equipment are serviceable, calibrated, and compliant with regulations.
- Ensure all technical publications, manuals, and work instructions are up to date and accessible.
- Respond to audit findings, implement corrective actions, and assist with continuous process improvements.
- Recommend amendments or new procedures for compliance with KCASR Part-145 requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in workshop maintenance, preferably with aircraft components.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft batteries, components, and technical publications.
- Ability to interpret and apply Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM).
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
