Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
A law firm and legal consultancy office announces a job vacancy for a lawyer.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Representing clients before local and federal courts at all levels, and relevant judicial and quasi-judicial bodies.
Appearing and pleading before public prosecutors' offices, judicial committees, and arbitration panels when necessary.
Preparing, drafting, and reviewing lawsuits, legal memoranda, regulations, appeals, defenses, and legal contracts.
Providing specialized legal advice, both oral and written, and drafting legal opinions supported by legislation and case law.
Managing and monitoring case files at all stages, from filing to judgment and enforcement.
Representing the firm before government agencies and official departments and following up on related procedures when needed.
Adhering to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT) policies and procedures, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and client due diligence in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Utilizing electronic systems of courts, public prosecutors' offices, and judicial bodies efficiently and professionally.
Strictly adhering to the firm's policies, quality standards, professional confidentiality requirements, and the ethics of the legal profession.
Continuously coordinating with partners and senior legal management to ensure the smooth operation of the firm and the achievement of its strategic objectives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Requirements: UAE National.
Proven practical experience in the legal field of at least five (5) years.
Registered with the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Bar Associations and in good standing.
Experience in drafting legal briefs and regulations, and conducting legal research. Practical experience in using electronic systems of local and federal courts and public prosecution offices.
Familiarity with and practical knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CFT) requirements and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
Fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written. Additional Advantage: Registration as a private notary in the Emirate of Dubai. Job Details and Conditions:
