Position: EMEA Business Transformation Project Manager

Job Description:

About this role:

The position is EMEA Project Manager in the Business Transformation team. It includes among other duties to manage a team of Project Managers and lead the different projects across many countries, mostly linked to business tools. This position will report to the EMEA Senior Project Manager, and will work closely with business analysts, change managers, training manager, local business units and IT.

Main responsibilities :

  • Managing a team of Project Managers and harmonizing processes as in a Project Management Office

  • Managing various EMEA projects within identified constraints

  • Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing project processes

  • Providing guidance to various global project teams and managing the actions required to meet the project deliverables

  • Monitoring project progress, identifying and implementing changes to make sure project deliverables and timelines are met

  • Keeping project sponsors and stakeholders aware of project status

  • Managing project risks and issues, assessing impact, and providing recommendations when escalation or mitigation is needed

  • Building and maintaining productive working relationships with team members and all stakeholders

  • Documenting project lessons learned and implementing learnings to improve ongoing processes and best practices

  • Identifying and implementing process and procedure improvement to increase team planning and management efficiency

Who we're looking for:

  • Fluent in English, other additional languages are a plus (French, German, Italian, etc.)

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree

  • at least 4 years of experience working in project management, ideally IT related projects and/or within EMEA scope

  • Experience in Team management

  • Ability to manage multiple project workstreams of varying sizes and complexities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Good organization and solution oriented

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships across multiple geographies and departments

  • Experience managing Agile Methodology projects would be a plus

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Prince 2 or Agile certification would be desired
