Roles & Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for systems engineering activities across the lifecycle of radar and electronic warfare (REW) systems. The role combines hands on field-work at test ranges with data-driven analysis to inform the design, development/upgrade, integration, testing, operation and support of REW systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Signal Processing, Electronic Warfare Engineering or closely related technical field. Master s degree preferred.
  • More than 5 years professional Radar and Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering experience covering requirements, design, development, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Demonstrated experience performing EDA, descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis on EW and RF datasets.
  • Field deployment experience and ability to plan, coordinate and execute testing activities as well as collect, preprocess, and validate field data (real time analysis under operational constraints).
  • Radar and Electronic Warfare algorithm implementation and evaluation experience: detection, classification, geolocation, beamforming, pulse/PRI analysis and interference mitigation.
  • Strong signal processing fundamentals (Fourier/time frequency analysis, detection/estimation, classification, direction finding, Doppler processing) and EW techniques (ES/EA/EP).
  • Strong programming skills and experience developing analysis tools and automation in Python, MATLAB, Julia, or C/C++; experience with ML libraries, signal processing toolkits, and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated experience producing technical reports, presenting findings and delivering briefings to both technical and non technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams in a fast paced, operational environment.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to synthesize complex data into concise recommendations.

  • Experience with EW toolchains/ simulation environments and threat emulators
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot EW test equipment and lab instruments
