Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electromechanical systems by integrating mechanical components, electronics, and software to create innovative solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability in real-world applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, ensuring alignment between mechanical designs and electronic systems.
  • Utilize advanced simulation software to model and analyze the behavior of electromechanical systems before physical prototyping.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals, to facilitate effective communication and compliance.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to optimize manufacturing techniques and enhance product quality in electromechanical assemblies.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate the latest advancements into electromechanical designs.
  • Develop and execute project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within financial constraints.
  • Perform root cause analysis on product failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support and training to manufacturing and maintenance teams, ensuring they have the knowledge to operate and service electromechanical systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in both mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in sectors such as robotics, automation, or manufacturing.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Engineering Technician (CET) or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) are highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design and circuit design tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle) for electronics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python for embedded systems development and automation tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities to address complex engineering challenges efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and present technical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to electromechanical systems, including safety and quality assurance protocols.
