Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Our company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of electro mechanical technician. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities for electro mechanical technician
Assemble large component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and microscopes
Assembly and repair of parts and assemblies per process documentation and verbal direction provided by Production Manager or designee
Quality of work with zero tolerance for errors due to inattention or deviation from process documentation without prior approval from Production Manager
Notifying Production Management of possible process improvements and assisting Production Manager and/or Engineering in documenting any change
Attention to the aesthetics of a final product
Minimizing scrap and identifying ways in consultation with Production Manager to reduce scrap
Confirmation of correct inventory when jobs are pulled and correctly identifying inventory usage in Repair System and/or "Pull Sheet."
Accurate input of information required by the Repair System
Maintenance of personal work station and any other workstation used in the course of completing a Work Order for repair or assembly
Willingness to provide assistance in shop as required
Qualifications for electro mechanical technician
Experience reading structural blueprints and hydraulic schematics
Two (2) year degree from technical college or school in the fields of Industrial Mechanics, Electronics, Engineering, Electro-Mechanical or other technical field
At least two (2) years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic systems using various tools and computers
Previous corrugated industry experience
