Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and local codes.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to accurately execute electrical installations.
- Service and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including motors, generators, and lighting systems, to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of electrical work in construction projects.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and preventive measures on electrical systems to enhance reliability.
- Document all work performed, including repairs and modifications, to maintain a detailed service history.
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentices, sharing knowledge and expertise to develop future electricians.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and best practices to optimize efficiency and safety.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical technology is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
