Electrician Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group

Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Engineering Department, the Electrician is responsible for operating maintaining and repairing all aspects of the electrical system, in accordance with Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental s standards to achieve optimum product quality standards. The Electrician reports to the Electrical Engineer.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Attends to electrical systems operation and maintenance work as required
• Carries out equipment preventive and routine maintenance
• Responds to guest maintenance requests within 15 minutes of receipt of the same
• Ensures that the workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition
• Observes prescribed safety standards. Helps maintain safe conditions for self and others
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
• Interacts with other Departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions and festivities
• Interacts with other departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized technical support
• Follow Supervisors instructions in line with job requirements
• Adhere to all security and safety instructions
• Demonstrate commitment to uncompromising standards of excellence
• Work as a team with all other departments in their effort to delight the guest
• Show respect for guest s security and privacy at all times
• Communicate effectively to ensure service excellence at all times
• Ensure requests are followed through to the guest s satisfaction

• Ready to work in shifts and do overtime as per work requirements
