Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to effectively install electrical systems.
• Identify electrical problems using various testing devices and equipment.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring and systems.
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals during the planning stages of projects.
• Monitor inventory and order materials and supplies as necessary for electrical projects.
• Adhere to all local and national regulations and building codes related to electrical systems.
• Ensure regular maintenance and upgrades are completed to prevent potential hazards.
• Keep detailed records of all electrical work performed for future reference and reporting.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations involving electrical systems malfunctions.

Requirements

• Possess a valid electrician s license or certification in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience working with electrical systems and components in various environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints effectively.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools required for electrical work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on diagnosing electrical issues swiftly.
