Role & responsibilities

Experience in HOT ROLLING MILL - Long Products/Section Mill covering following Areas of Electrical and Automation System --

1) Medium Voltage / Low Voltage Power Distribution

2) All Types Of Circuit Breakers - VCB,ACB ,MCCB

3) EOT Cranes Mantenance and Troubleshooting

4) Maintenance of Medium Voltage / Low Voltage Motor in Section Mill involving Scheduled Greasing, overhauling Motors etc

5) MV Transformers/MV Panels and their Protections involved.HT/LT Cable Termination.Transformer Oil Filtration / BDV Monitoring

6) In Depth understanding of Automation System/AC Drive System and Instrumentation invloved in Mill.

7) Clear understanding of various Control / Power wiring involved in MCC, MV System,Automation System and Troubleshooting, Diesel Generator Set.

8) Independantly carrying Erection and Maintenance of various Equipments involved in Long Rolling Mills

9) Maintenance, Testing and Troubleshooting of Various Sensors involved in Mill -Absolute Encoder,Incremental Encoders,Linear Transducers SSI,Hot Metal Detectors,Laser Sensors,Optical Barrier,Pyrometer etc

10)All Electrical Activities invloved during Contruction Phase of Section Mill Plant.

11) Expertise in Knowing Control / Power Wiring/Programming involved with various Starters - DOL / Star-Delta / Softstarter / AC Drives / UPS / Battery Charger and Batteries

12) Knowhow and Troubleshooting of Auxilary system - Paging System,CCTV System,Fire Alarm System,Plant Lighting,Road Lighting,Intercom System

Preferred candidate profile

1) ITI (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation) with 7 to 10 years of experience in handling Automation and Power projects comprising of Erection & commissioning in Steel Hot Rolling Mill.
2) Should have experience in Handling complete Intrumentation / Automation system involved in Water Complex / Water Treatment Plant.
3) Knowledge in understanding wiring and Termination for PLC/ DCS systems with clear undertanding of Electrical Power and Control Drawings.
4) Carrying out independently activities of basic and detailed engineering of Automation systems including hardware and application programming.
5) Candidate should have hands on working experience in PLC, SCADA, RTU, DCS systems.
6) Solid communication, collaborative skills, Debugging/Problem Solving Skill.
7) Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
8) Equipment Inspection and Monitoring and Reporting
9) Proficient in Handling and Working on Electrical Testing Equipents - Meggar,Multimeter,Tong Tester,Instrument Simulators etc
