We are seeking a skilled and versatile Electrician cum Plumber to join our dynamic team. This unique combined role calls for a professional adept in handling wiring tasks as well as plumbing responsibilities. As an Electrical cum Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing both electrical systems and plumbing networks for our commercial and residential clients. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of electrical diagrams and be proficient with pipes and fixtures. You will play an essential role in ensuring functional and safe plumbing and electrical systems that adhere to industry standards and building codes. Candidates should be methodical, competent, and safety-oriented, with great attention to detail and an ability to diagnose and fix complex problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprints to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
• Identify electrical problems using various testing devices and tools.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct tests on electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Install and maintain water supply systems, including pipes, valves, and fixtures.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs to prevent water damage.
• Inspect plumbing systems to determine and fix issues like leaks or pipeline damage.
• Collaborate with contractors and other workers during building projects and renovations.
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the national electrical code.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety standards and procedures in both fields.
• Maintain accurate records of service dates and detailed reports on actions taken.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician and plumber, with certification in both fields.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical and plumbing systems and codes compliance.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on effective and quick solutions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
