Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Performing electrical installation and connection work for solar power systems (DC/AC).

Operating and monitoring the performance of the solar plant, inverters, and generators affiliated with the company.

Periodically inspecting transformers, cables, and control panels to ensure their technical integrity.

Diagnosing electrical faults in systems and equipment, and performing the necessary preventive and corrective maintenance.

Contributing to the continued efficient operation of inverters and equipment, noting any performance declines and addressing them immediately.

Verifying wiring connections and electrical panels according to the technical drawings and specifications.

Using manual and automated devices to assemble, install, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring and equipment.

Continuous coordination with the engineering department to ensure prompt repairs and minimize downtime.

Implementing occupational safety procedures during all phases of work and adhering to industrial safety regulations.

Prepare daily and periodic maintenance reports and document all completed work.

Ensure that tools and equipment are cleaned and arranged after maintenance or repair work is completed.

Required Skills:

  • Highly skilled in fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Knowledge of DC and AC systems basics.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams and drawings.
  • Commitment to occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as a team.
  • Accurate follow-up and attention to technical details.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or qualification in electrical engineering (or equivalent).

  • At least 2-3 years of practical experience in the field of solar electricity.
  • Previous experience with transformers, cables, generators, and distribution panels is preferred.
  • Highly capable of identifying and repairing electrical faults in a timely manner.
  • Good knowledge of modern electrical testing programs and tools.
  • Ability to work in remote locations and withstand field work conditions.
