Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment in various settings.
• Interpret and read electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to complete tasks accurately.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Identify electrical problems using specialized testing devices and diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regional electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex electrical issues effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system faults and equipment malfunction promptly.
• Document all repairs, modifications, and maintenance work performed on systems and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of electrical supplies, parts, and tools needed for various projects.
• Participate in emergency repairs and provide support during unexpected electrical outages.
• Stay informed about new electrical technologies and advancements within the industry.
• Update and train junior technicians on electrical maintenance practices and safety procedures.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or specialist training.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar technical role.
• In-depth understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints interpretation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under challenging conditions.
• Strong knowledge of regional electrical codes and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local authorities.
