Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for ongoing projects.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Conduct technical evaluations of electrical designs to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Assist in the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation for electrical works.
Provide technical support to the site team during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations, review technical offers, and ensure material compatibility.
Participate in value engineering processes to optimize design and reduce project costs without compromising quality.
Review and resolve technical queries from the site and ensure timely communication of solutions.
Ensure all electrical documentation is up-to-date, properly archived, and accessible for project stakeholders.
Support the preparation of as-built drawings and final project documentation for handover.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2 to 7 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards relevant to building construction.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in an office-based environment with occasional site visits.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
