Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Design, review, and implement electrical systems for manufacturing machines
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform preventive maintenance
  • Work with PLCs, sensors, motors, VFDs, and industrial automation components
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate with mechanical and production teams to improve machine performance
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation

Manufacturing Environment:

  • Strong knowledge of control panels, wiring diagrams,

PLC troubleshooting:

  • Experience with industrial automation is a strong plus
  • Good command of English (spoken & written)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering and production within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven track record of optimising production processes and implementing electrical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and production issues efficiently.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and production management tools.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and embrace new technologies.
