Roles & Responsibilities
An Electrical Inspector is a highly trained professional responsible for ensuring electrical systems and installations comply with local and national safety codes and standards. This role involves examining wiring, electrical equipment, and installations to ensure everything is functional and safe for use. Electrical Inspectors play a vital role in the construction and maintenance phases of any building, providing a critical check to protect against fire hazards, electrical shock, and other potential electrical risks. This position requires keen attention to detail, extensive knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to identify potential safety risks. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations for compliance.
- Evaluate the safety and functionality of wiring setups in residential and commercial properties.

- Identify potential electrical hazards and recommend necessary corrective actions to mitigate risks.

- Communicate inspection results clearly to stakeholders, recommending next steps and safety measures.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma, with advanced training in electrical systems preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical inspection or a related field, with a strong safety focus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of national and local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills to assess system compliance and identify potential safety issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively report on safety deficiencies and recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform precise and accurate inspections on complex systems.
- Certification as an electrical inspector or a similar credential demonstrating specialized expertise.
