• Advise electricians and contractors on necessary corrections and improvements.
• Ensure that all electrical systems meet local, state, and federal regulations.
• Liaise with other inspectors, engineers, and construction teams for project coordination.
• Provide guidance and assistance regarding technical and safety issues as required.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and changes in electrical safety codes.
• Perform follow-up inspections to ensure compliance with recommended modifications.
• Investigate electrical accidents and incidents to determine causes and preventive measures.
• Approve or reject electrical permits based on compliance findings during inspections.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to maintain inspection competency and knowledge.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required.
• Minimum of five years of practical experience in electrical inspection or installation.
• Understanding of electrical codes, ordinances, and safety standards is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical plans and specifications.
• Proficient in using inspection tools and technology to assess electrical installations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey inspection findings and recommendations.
• Certifications such as Electrical Inspector Certification will be considered an asset.
