Job Description:

Euro Group for Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems within municipality assets, with a particular focus on street lighting and general electrical infrastructure under the auspices of the Amana.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise electrical maintenance projects, drawing on extensive experience from both contractor and consultant perspectives.
  • Manage and direct all aspects of street lighting maintenance work, ensuring optimal functionality, energy efficiency, and public safety.
  • Lead and guide maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical infrastructure to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical problems and implement effective, lasting solutions.
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily and periodic reports to the supervising engineer or assigned assistants, detailing project progress, resource utilization, and any operational challenges.
  • Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant Amana standards, national codes, and safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a strong emphasis on operation and maintenance works.
  • Accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in the field of electricity or street lighting is required.
  • Proven experience in supervising electrical maintenance projects, whether in a contractor or consultant capacity.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and motivate technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, particularly for complex electrical issues.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering software and diagnostic tools.
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
