Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design of various Electrical systems (Lighting, small power, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection, load schedules, single line diagrams, Light current systems, fire alarm, Access, BMS, CCTV, ICT & PAVA System etc.) for various types of building & infrastructure projects.
Perform design calculations for various Electrical systems.
Attend the projects meetings and perform action on related agreed points.
Coordinate with different Engineering disciplines (inter-disciplinary coordination), local authorities and Clients.
Prepare the project drawings, list of drawings, etc.
Prepare project documents including scope of work, design reports, bill of quantities, etc.
Prepare project deliverables using BIM based software (Revit, Navisworks).
Deliver the project documents as per Company quality procedures and delivery timeline.
Ensure electrical systems design compliance with the applicable Standards, Regulations and best practice.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable University.
3-8 years of experience of Electrical systems design for projects in KSA.
Solid knowledge of electrical engineering basics.
Solid knowledge of design for various systems.
Excellent knowledge of local and international regulations (BS 7671, Saudi Building Code, Saudi Electricity Company Regulations, etc.).
Excellent command of design tools and software (Dialux, ETAP, PVSYST, etc.).
High proficiency in using REVIT and Navisworks for design and modelling of electrical systems.
Ability to perform design value engineering.
Excellent knowledge of the products in the market and latest trends.
High proficiency in communication and presentation skills.
Excellent team player.
Excellent technical writing skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent logical thinking and ability to evaluate new approaches, systems and solutions.
English: High Proficiency.
Arabic: High Proficiency.
