Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical circuits and layouts for marine applications.
- Perform load calculations and determine appropriate electrical distribution systems.
- Select and integrate suitable electrical components (switchgear, breakers, cabling, etc.).
- Develop and manage battery management systems and onboard electrification solutions.
- Plan, size, and integrate solar panel systems for sustainable energy generation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, marine electrical codes, and international best practices.
- Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and design teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize electrical systems during production and sea trials.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in:
- Electrical load calculations and system sizing.
- Battery systems and energy storage solutions.
- Solar panel integration and renewable energy systems.
- Electrical circuit design and CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of marine or industrial electrification standards is preferred.
- Ability to select cost-effective, reliable components suitable for marine environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
