Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems for infrastructure projects, ensuring efficient data acquisition and control.
  • Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation and control systems, optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the electrical design and construction of infrastructure projects, including power distribution and control systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and system manuals.
  • Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on SCADA, PLC, and electrical systems.
  • Analyze and resolve complex electrical and automation issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing system availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in SCADA, PLC, and electrical engineering.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards in electrical systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in SCADA, PLC programming, and infrastructure projects.
  • Exhibits strong proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram).
  • Experience with electrical power distribution systems and control panels is crucial.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
