Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create and modify electrical drawings, plans, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with electrical codes and standards.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other documents to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Assist with the preparation of construction and installation documents, including detailed drawings and schematics.
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changes in project requirements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawing and specifications.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to electrical design and drafting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of design projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's/Diploma degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Certification in AutoCAD.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an electrical draftsman, preferably in the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards, such as NEC and IEC.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with electrical components and materials.
