Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electric Vehicle Service Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of EV systems, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring high-quality service, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, and repair electric vehicles, including battery systems, electric motors, inverters, and charging systems
  • Perform advanced diagnostics using EV-specific diagnostic tools and software
  • Inspect high-voltage systems and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of EVs
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and software-related vehicle issues
  • Install, repair, and maintain EV charging equipment
  • Test vehicles post-repair to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Maintain accurate service records and job reports
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop safety protocols
  • Support junior technicians with technical guidance and best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest EV technologies and service procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an EV Technician or Electric Vehicle Service Specialist
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, lithium-ion batteries, and power electronics
  • Expertise in electrical diagnostics and fault-finding
  • Familiarity with EV diagnostic tools and service software
  • Understanding of EV safety procedures and regulations
  • Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
