Strategic Leadership & Management

Lead the EHSS Department, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.

Serve as a key member of the senior Management team, contributing to company-wide decision-making.

Develop and implement EHSS policies aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.

Promote a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and security awareness across all levels of the organization.

Environmental Management

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards (national, and international).

Oversee environmental impact assessments, waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.

Monitor and report environmental performance metrics and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Health & Safety Oversight

Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident prevention.

Ensure all operational procedures and equipment designs reflect best practices in health and safety.

Lead investigations of workplace incidents and near-misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and drills to ensure preparedness and compliance.

Security Management

Design and implement physical and operational security strategies to protect personnel, assets, and information.

Oversee access control systems, surveillance infrastructure, and emergency response protocols.

Conduct security risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for identified threats.

Coordinate with external security agencies and emergency services as needed.

Compliance & Monitoring

Ensure all EHSS compliance testing, monitoring, and verification activities are completed accurately and on time.

Maintain up-to-date documentation and records for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.

Stay informed of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and update internal systems accordingly.

Collaborate with legal, operational, and corporate functions to monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation.

Integrated Management System (IMS)

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 9001 (Quality) and ASI.

Ensure effective integration of EHSS processes into business operations and compliance with certification requirements.

Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.

Sustainability & Decarbonization

Lead the development and execution of sustainability strategies, including energy efficiency, resource conservation, and waste reduction.

Drive decarbonization initiatives in alignment with national and global climate goals.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainable practices across the organization.

Business Continuity

Develop and maintain the company s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and ensure readiness for potential disruptions.

Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.

Lead emergency response planning, training, and drills to ensure organizational resilience.

Training & Development

Develop and deliver EHSS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Ensure all personnel are aware of and adhere to safety and security protocols.

Foster continuous learning and improvement through workshops, simulations, and feedback mechanisms.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Lead initiatives to improve EHSS performance through innovation, technology adoption, and process optimization.

Benchmark against industry best practices and implement improvements accordingly.

Encourage employee involvement in safety and security improvement programs.
