Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to students seeking higher education opportunities in China, including university selection, application procedures, and scholarship options.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess students academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences for studying in China.
- Assist students in preparing and reviewing application documents, such as personal statements, recommendation letters, and academic transcripts.
- Stay updated on Chinese university admission requirements, deadlines, and program offerings to ensure accurate and timely advice.
- Organize and lead informational seminars, webinars, and workshops about studying in China for prospective students and their families.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Chinese universities, educational partners, and scholarship organizations.
- Support students with visa application processes, pre-departure orientations, and travel arrangements.
- Respond promptly to student inquiries via email, phone, and in-person meetings, providing clear and comprehensive information.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, application progress, and outcomes in the company s CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns targeting students interested in studying in China.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience in international education consulting, student counseling, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Chinese higher education systems, university admission processes, and scholarship opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Ability to conduct presentations and workshops for groups of varying sizes.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin or other Chinese dialects is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with visa application processes and pre-departure requirements for studying in China.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and understanding of the challenges faced by international students.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools.
