Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily management of electronic data processing (EDP) systems, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime to support business functions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members while documenting resolutions.
  • Perform routine backups and data recovery procedures to safeguard critical information and maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain and update EDP documentation, including procedures, configurations, and user guides, to ensure accuracy and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field to establish a strong foundational knowledge base.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) to demonstrate technical proficiency.
  • Has 1-2 years of experience in an EDP or IT support role, showcasing hands-on experience with system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, to effectively manage network infrastructure.
