Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are now looking for an enthusiastic EAL Specialist & Literacy Lead who will teach Primary & Secondary English in the main campus, Al Waab, and spend a significant proportion of their time planning a literacy development programme for the schools to support students whose main first language is Arabic. The role will involve supporting other teachers in their development of English as a Second Language practices across the school s curricula.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience teaching Key Stage 3, 4 or 5 English in an international school setting where children s main language is not English. Experience also in TEFL-type settings would be advantage.

The position starts August 25th with a two-year fixed term contract, with great opportunities for the successful candidate to grow and develop within the group.
