Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The E-commerce Supervisor is responsible for managing daily online sales and fulfillment operations within the store, ensuring operational efficiency, resource optimization, and high-quality service delivery. The role involves close collaboration with the Store Manager and the Omni Operations Team to identify issues, implement solutions, and maintain seamless coordination across departments.


1. Store Staff Scheduling & Resource Allocation

· Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage aligned with fluctuating operational demands.

· Dynamically allocate store staff between different sections—such as merchandising and online order picking—based on real-time order volumes and store needs to maximize efficiency.

· Supervise team activities to maintain productivity and adherence to company standards.

· Provide ongoing coaching and training to enhance team performance.


2. Online Availability & Out-of-Stock (OOS) Management

· Manage the online product catalog to ensure items are listed as available only if physically present in the store.

· Monitor and promptly update product availability on the platform to minimize OOS incidents and avoid unnecessary order replacements.

· Coordinate with Store and E-commerce Merchandising teams to track stock levels and ensure timely updates.


3. Quality and Standards of Online Operations

· Oversee the adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all online order processes, including picking, packing, and dispatch.

· Ensure hygiene standards for drivers and proper handling procedures during packing and delivery.

· Conduct regular quality audits and resolve issues related to order accuracy and readiness.


4. Reporting & Cross-Department Coordination

· Provide regular reports on operational performance, challenges, and key metrics to the Store Manager and Omni Operations Team.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow up on solutions and drive continuous improvement.

· Participate in meetings to align operational practices with business goals.


5. Operational Oversight

· Supervise daily e-commerce dispatch operations ensuring safety, hygiene, and compliance with protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Bachelor’s degree or completion of formal education.

· Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce or retail operations management.

· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

· Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, inventory management, and operational workflows.

· Excellent problem-solving capabilities and team management expertise.
