Roles & Responsibilities
Your Day to Day
As a Duty Manager, you will be at the heart of our hotel operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day performance while representing senior management during your shift. You will:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Front Office and ensure guest satisfaction at all times.
- Act as the main point of contact for guests, handling special requests, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Support the Front Office Manager in leading, coaching, and motivating the team to deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure all hotel standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.
- Monitor room availability, occupancy, and revenue opportunities in coordination with the Reservations and Revenue teams.
- Conduct regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to ensure quality and cleanliness.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and ensure guest and team safety at all times.
- Represent hotel management in the absence of senior leaders, making confident operational decisions.
What We Need From You
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
- Previous experience in Front Office operations, preferably in a supervisory or duty management role within a 5-star luxury hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Arabic or other languages are an advantage).
- Strong leadership presence, problem-solving ability, and guest-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems.
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure.
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences and developing your team.
