Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The Driller plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations. Working under the supervision of the Rig Superintendent / Assistant Rig Superintendent, the Driller is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the drill floor equipment, including hoisting system, mud circulating systems, rotary system, and well control equipment. They also supervise the Drilling Crew, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently according to drilling programs and AD procedures. The Driller prioritizes safety, adheres to all company HSE regulations, and contributes to a positive and collaborative work environment on the rig.

Desired Candidate Profile
Total Years of Experience (Minimum)
- 8 years of experience in drilling operations with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a driller.
Relevant Experience
- Experience operating and maintaining drilling equipment as required in the well program that complies with company's policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of drilling terminology and procedures.
- Understanding of wellbore mechanics and pressure control principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
Education / Qualifications
- High School
- Technical Degree in Drilling Technology
Certifications
- IADC Well Control Driller Level
