Are you a detail-oriented Draftsman with a passion for turning creative retail concepts into precise technical drawings and production-ready files?


Dash-Recruits is hiring on behalf of a leading company in the POSM space, known for creating innovative in-store displays, packaging solutions, and branded marketing materials for global retail brands.


As a Draftsman, youll bridge the gap between creative design and production by producing accurate technical drawings, ensuring that every concept is feasible, functional, and ready for fabrication.


Responsibilities:

Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for:


Retail displays and merchandising units


Packaging layouts and dielines


Custom fixtures and branded installations


Translate creative concepts into manufacturing-ready documentation, considering materials, tolerances, and structural integrity.


Collaborate with designers, project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and clarity.


Modify and update drawings based on client feedback, design changes, or production requirements.


Maintain a well-organized drawing archive and ensure version control.


Work within POSM-specific constraints, including:


Material properties (e.g., acrylic, wood, metal, cardboard)


Assembly techniques


Transportation and in-store setup logistics


Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience as a Draftsman or Technical Designer, ideally within the POSM, retail, packaging, or industrial design industries.


Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or SketchUp.


Strong knowledge of material behaviors, structural design, and fabrication processes.


Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and client briefs.


A keen eye for precision and detail, with excellent organizational skills.


Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
