Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently hiring on behalf of our client, a reputable construction company based in Abu Dhabi, for the position of Draftsman. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in preparing construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation in line with project requirements and engineering specifications. Role Overview: The Draftsman will support the engineering and site teams by creating accurate 2D and/or 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software. The role requires attention to detail, understanding of construction practices, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2–3 years of drafting experience in the construction industry
Proficient in AutoCAD (2D is a must; 3D is a plus) and MS Office tools
Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and MEP drawings
Knowledge of local authority drawing standards is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately
