Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings and blueprints based on architectural and engineering specifications, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to interpret their concepts into actionable designs, maintaining a strong line of communication.
- Review and verify design dimensions and specifications for accuracy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for easy reference and tracking of project progress.
- Stay informed about new materials, techniques, and trends in drafting and design to enhance project outcomes.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines, demonstrating strong time management skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3-5 years of experience in drafting within the construction or engineering industry, showcasing a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit, with additional certifications preferred to enhance technical credibility.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans, ensuring accurate translations into drafts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, backed by a methodical approach to problem-solving in design.
- Flexibility and adaptability in handling project changes and evolving client needs, maintaining a positive outlook.
- Creativity and innovation in design thinking, allowing for the development of unique and effective solutions.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of working harmoniously in team settings while also being self-directed when necessary.
