Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Instructor with a Civil Infrastructure focus to deliver an intensive online training course covering the full workflow from field data capture to final as-built documentation.

Course Structure:

Duration: 4 weeks

Schedule: 3-hour sessions (time and frequency to be agreed upon with the candidate)

Delivery: Online, live instruction

Key Topics Covered:

  • Experience working with field survey data (GPS/RTK, Total Station).
  • Model aggregation, clash detection, and reporting workflows.
  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
  • Skilled in Autodesk Recap for scan registration, point cloud processing, and scan-to-model workflows.
  • Familiar with LiDAR (TLS, MLS, ALS), drone photogrammetry, GPR, and mobile scanning tools.
  • Ability to create as-built verification reports and deviation analyses.

  • Compensation:
  • Payment made at the end of each class via transaction.
  • Course continuation is contingent on meeting quality and qualification standards.
  • If the candidate fails to demonstrate the required expertise, the engagement will be terminated immediately.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in BIM workflows for civil infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Recap, and ArcGIS/Map 3D.
  • Familiar with survey control points, GPS/RTK, Total Station, Drone Photogrammetry, LiDAR (TLS/MLS/ALS), GPR, and mobile scanners.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver as-built verification package.
